      WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

              Little Jimmy and The Robots:

Eddy Rupprich (drms)  to The New Inspiration, Danny Pelfreine (lead gtr) to Marino Falco - and then...?

Maurice on bass comes and goes:

Jimmy’s friend Maurice Keghels joined The Robots but did not participate in The Sharks 1. When Little Jimmy & Sharks broke up in 1967, Maurice quit music for a while, but returned in 1970 with a band called Greenwich (up to1972).  Played for ballroom orchestra All Martin (till 1982). Next joined Les Ombres (French for The Shadows) and simultaneously went free-lance to back Boogie Boy, Freddy Sunder, The Seagulls, Herman De Bruycker, The J-P Jazz Band, Rock + Roll High School… (1982-1997). Joined  The Romantics in 1997. Maurice joins his old pal Jimmy on stage if there’s an opportunity…

Cell

Romantics drummer is is Cell De Cauwer, who played for Don Croissant Mk 2 and still  acts as a replacement whenever necessary. Cell De Cauwer drummed with The Pebbles, one of Belgium’s most famous groups ever.

From Jimmy to Don

Little Jimmy & Sharks broke up in 1967 and Jimmy briefly returned with this outfit.

The Rock + Roll Highschool continued when Jimmy left the music business for more than two decades…In 1994 he renamed himself Don Croissant, put a blues band together, became successful in the club and festival circuit and has cut several albums since.

Dirk Van Gansbeke

Formerly of Luna Twist (died in a car accident in 1999)

Jean Blaute

Too many groups to mention (the best could well be Raymond Van Het Groenewoud’s backing group); still an in-demand session guitarist.

Rudy Dequelou

First formed Groep 69, then gathered fame and respect with Dragonfly and Massada; now a member of the reformed Holland blues outfit Flavium!
